horrible customer service

their shoes are fine and pretty good quality, but the lack of customer service is astounding. I sent back a pair of shoes for a refund and at first did they not only refund my the wrong amount, but took literally forever to get in contact with someone who could fix it and refund me the rest of the money owed to me. I talked with 3 different reps all who said they would solve the problem, and it was only after trying to get in contact with them another time was I able to actually get the money owed to me (after waiting for 3 days). Took way longer than it should have to solve a simple problem and I probably will only be ordering from REI after this.

Poor Customer Service

I liked the product that I bought but the whole experience showed the lack of any customer service skills at multiple levels, not that they will read any of the reviews or care.
Website order was acknowledged promptly and prepared for shipping promptly. After 6 days of receiving no notification of a shipment, I tried my order number to check the status via the automated phone tree all their employees hide behind in order not to talk to anyone. The tree did not find my order number. I called again and noted there was no option to speak to someone live. Teva loves their Chat room but that is very limited in what it can accomplish. At this point I wanted to speak to someone live. Chat rep gave me another number that was again fully automated and NO option to speak to someone. I got back on Chat to ask the person giving me the number had actually used it himself..No. I then get on their corporate website to "contact us" email. The automated response said allow 1-3 business days for a response. Guess what, no response and it's over 3 weeks now. There is also no phone number listed to speak to someone. Since this time I have received two surveys to my email. Finally, now I can speak my mind and someone may read it, but guess what, both survey links took me to places that did not exist. Nice job Teva. How do you expect to stay in business. Don't complain when your jobs get shipped out. BTW, I like at the bottom of this review it wants to know if the review can be sent to Teva. It is the same email Teva doesn't respond to.

Quality has massively deteriorated

I have worn Teva sandals since the early 1990's. I recently decided to get yet another pair (the F1 5 Universal being the new model name for the ones I had bought before) but they are no longer the same. I was shocked. The cushioning, especially under the balls of your feet, is now very poor for cushioned footwear let alone for what was once a leading manufacturer in this area. Other aspects are also distinctly lower quality and cheaper construction.
I sent mine back for a refund.

Excellent...detat?

Excellent. Nothing but the best service that cares about your needs.
Female staff truly understands detat!
If I was the owner I would give the gals a week to ✍ an apology letter to me for their unlawful acts, duties and insubordination or face federal prosecution. They would NEVER purposefully destroy a company for profit, would they?
After all overpriced birkenstocks or cheap slave labor made sketchers wouldn't want to profit at all costs,would they?

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Ordered 2 pairs of shoes and was promised 10% off and a gift. When I received my shoes I didn't receive a gift and did not receive 10% off. I've reached out to them multiple times and they don't care.

No longer good quality

I’ve had several pair of Tevas in the past. Lasted for many many years. Hiking and everyday use.
Finally wore them out and bought 2 new pairs in July 2020.
Very disappointed. Quality is not there The sole of the shoe is not the same. Moving on to another brand. Do not purchase.

Third pair ball of foot worn out!

I love Teva's for their look, comfort but not durability. On my third pair of Terra F1's in four years and on every pair they have worn out in the exactly same spot at the ball of the foot. The uppers are fine, nicely worn-in and comfortable yet the ball has worn through to nearly my foot. This seems to be planned obsolescence to make you buy more shoes, which is a shame from a company which makes many environmental claims. Maybe at worse a couple of years wear from each pair but only to last a summer season seems really poor for what is a premium brand. I love Teva's but next year maybe switching to a more durable brand.

I bought my first pair of Teva's in…

I bought my first pair of Teva's in 2011. I worked at the school and needed some sturdy sandals. I wore the s%$* out of them. After being my sturdy sandals for 5 years, they became my hiking, river and creek shoes. They were exposed to hot cars, tents, walking through water and drying in the sun ect. They broke last month and I replaced them with an identical pair (so I thought). I recently took a trip and left them in the hot car and the rubber curled up and shrunk. I have left my other teva's in the Phoenix sun and never ever had them shrink like this. It is clear the Teva no longer stands for quality and customer service.. I asked about returning them, but was told that I would only be getting a gift card and I would have to pay for shipping. I am very dissatisfied and dissapointed with Teva. I will be looking for another brand and will definitely do my research and read customer reviews.
Sorry Teva! Not worth the 80 bucks!

total contempt for customers!

I ordered a pair of sandals on the TEVA website, on 5th May
On order acknowledgement, I was advised of a potential delivery delay so I waited a few weeks but they never arrived.
A month on, 4th June, I started emailing to ask what happened to my order. Weeks passed and I received no reply.
On 22nd June I messaged the facebook page, and received a reply the following day that the order was lost. I was told customer services had requested a replacement order.
On 29th June I received an automated message from teva stating my order had been cancelled due to lack of inventory. I went straight to the teva.co.uk website to check my product, and saw it was still for sale. I got really angry and started posting on social media, they told me to reach out to customer services etc. I did so by email but received no reply.
On 3rd July I received a response to a message I sent once again to the facebook page on 2nd July that a refund had been processed. On 8th July via facebook they informed me that a refund had been processed the previous day. On checking the refund, I saw that it was for the total amount of the order, but they had not refunded me the cost for standard shipping. I have reached out to them again to ask they refund me the total charged to my account, and at current still waiting on a reply.

Will never purchase Tevas again
Paid eighty dollars each for three pair. Cheaply made. Uncomfortable. Have worn teva sandals for years. Disappointed and angry.

TEVA used to stand out for excellence

TEVA used to stand out for excellence, but not any more. I have spent the last two months trying to communicate about an exchange... NEVER, NEVER could connect with a live human. I persisted because we had been loyal customers. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (or lack thereof). Makes me sad!!

Wow. Sad to read all these poor reviews, but same experience. I got my first pair of TEVAs in 2008 and they lasted me until 2018. They were my favorite shoes and I wore them everyday. Finally bought a new pair last xmas for myself and it's now July and the bottom layer with the grips has already begun to peel off. Disappointed in the shoe. They make you pay for shipping to send them back. Then they will look at them and determine if they will give you a new pair. So disappointed in this company. I will no longer be recommending them to everyone and I will no longer be a customer. Sad day.
